Simple because after installing it doesn't even add a button on tool bar for downloading. Yes it shows that it is installed in the add on manager but no other indication that it is installed. If you cant activate it what good is it?

I was compelled to remove this add-on from my Firefox. Although it downloads Youtube videos well enough—as many other alternative add-ons can do, it kept loading its advertising web page at random times upon my startup of Firefox. Even though I disabled this add-on, that wasn't enough to stop it loading its annoying web page. I strongly recommend you use an alternative video downloading add-on. September 2015.
